Sustainable and Superior Ferro Alloys
Druk Wang Alloys Limited operates with a total production capacity of 36 MVA, consisting of two 18 MVA furnaces. The first furnace was commissioned in August 2008 at Pasakha, Bhutan, followed by the second furnace in November 2023. With this capacity, the company produces 30,000 metric tons of 70% and 75% ferrosilicon annually, which is exported to steel plants across India, Europe, and North America. In addition, Druk Wang manufactures around 6,400 metric tons of silica fume as a byproduct, serving consumers in India and Bhutan.
